This has been a busy week as I am sure it has been for you. The demo is off to the producer in Nashville and so this coming week I should be talking to him..My meeting with Steve last week was postponed. However, I have been working with him the past two days. Our main focus was to work on a few songs that I have recently written. I want to thank those of you who left me messages on my guest book...It is great to hear whatyou think of the album and web site. A couple of you asked if there was any thing you could do... in fact there is a ton to do . I would love to have every one register for the promo teamthat is just signing up to get the updates via e-mail and promo stuff such as posters and flyers that you can pin up at your local hang out. (ex. coffee shop, church bulletin) As well, we need your e-mails and addresses of friends and faimly you think might like to hear about the album coming up next year. Most of all we need your PRAYERS For God's guidance and wisdom in every thing.
Thank you all again. seth lamb

Hi to all..
Well this is the start of a weekly update of the process of writing and recording my first album. I have many thanks to give to Dave and Ian for their many hours spent helping to get this web site up and running. Dave is the brain behind the tec. side of this and I am very lucky to have him working with me. Ian has been great to work with and has always been able to design any crazy thing that I could dream up.. Nice hair man.. = ) Steve is another guy that I have to thank for his awesome ability and gift. I know that it is not easy working with me on writing some of these songs for the album.. He will take some words scribbled on a piece of paper and turn them into something that sounds great. I am at this time writing and arranging with Steve four or five newsongs that I have written in the last year or so. It takes a lot of time to take them from words, to giving them the right tune. After we have done that, it's into the studio to record a simple version of the song so that we don't forget how we put every thing together. The first two that we have right now we just recorded last Thrusday. The first is "Brillant Colors" and the second is "A Place Up Above". The latter one I wrote about my mother a day or so before she passed away.(last jan.) In this coming week I will be once again working with Steve on one or two songs that need a lot of work... so pray for us .. As well, I will be sending what I have done so far to a producer down in Nashvile to get some feed back ...so as you can guess I will be anxious to hear what he has to say... That's all for now...
Talk to you next week
Seth
p.s. I will ( try) to get the updates out every Monday.
